Pandora and the inbetween

Pandora is amazing. As in relation to NY? Not much, however, NY folks were the ones that introduced me to listening to Pandora on a regular basis. Until I get there, I feel like it’s sort of a string to keep me connected to everyone down there.

I’m making a visit in a couple of weeks. Maybe I’ll actually take pictures this time. Only pic I have of NY is when I’m leaving, crossing the Whitestone-Bronx Bridge. I love crossing that bridge and see the city spread out before me. There’s always been something about crossing rivers and other bodies of water that really push the point that you’re entering or leaving. When I was little, my parents and I lived in Nebraska. My extended family is originally from Texas, and when we’d cross the Red River in to visit, my dad would always announce it to me. I could be dead asleep from the 12 hour drive, but as soon as I heard that it was like a homecoming and I’d wake right up. And pretty much going to NY is exactly like that. I’m finally coming home again.

Excited for this visit…lots for us to do in such a short time. Pick out bedroom furniture, hopefully going to get hooked up with a new cell phone, maybe cruise for stuff for the bridal registry, hell, it’s NYC. Who knows?
